It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is here. We don’t usually like to play favorites, but this holiday is definitely at the top of the list. Thanksgiving is all about spreading goodwill, and in a way, it reminds us why we do what we do in the first place.
Today, we want to share
how grateful we are for those who make our work at Altruistic Apps possible.
The opportunity to
strengthen communities through business.
We feel pretty lucky that we get to make a difference in the
lives of others through our work. The School Supporter app helps us connect dollars
to classrooms that need them. True change happens when communities come
together, and we’re extremely grateful to play a role in connecting businesses,
schools and individuals for mutual benefit.
Caring companies who use
their advertising dollars for good.
Companies like Freshii and Midas give us hope for the future. They prove
that giving back really is good business. We’re grateful that companies are
willing to try an outside-the-box marketing opportunity, and that this time, it’s one
that gives kids better education.
Teachers who pour their
heart and souls into their classroom.
We’re beyond thankful for teachers who give everything to the
kids they teach. More often than not, that includes money out of their own pockets.
Our hope is that, by joining together with caring companies and communities, we
can provide teachers with the things they need to succeed before they ever have
to open their wallets. We all have a story of a teacher who changed our
perspective, so why not support them in return by using the School Supporter app?
